facepalm

Facepalm is a colloquial term referring to the physical gesture of striking one's own face in a display of exasperation. It is similar in function to a sigh. In Internet discussions, the term is used as an expression of [...] disgust or general woe. (via Wikipedia)
See also: facedesk - The act of planting one's face into a desk at high speeds, usually due to frustration. (via urbandictionary.com)
Olivia explains over here, what a facepalm is. And I thought a "Facepalm"
would be very appropriate, for the picture I'm about to post.

*Wow!*

This may not be a big deal for some bloggers, but it is for me. Considering when I check my stats each day, I usually only have around ten page views. I got..... (Look at the picture). That many! (Click the picture to enlarge it) I like that number. A lot.

Another random thing. I'm near to reaching 100 posts on this blog, and I want to do a (Or four or five) giveaway with a photography contest. If I did something like that, would *you* enter?

Eek.

Thats really all I have to say. Eek. My. Brother. Can. Drive. (Now.) I really don't mind anyone driving. But yesterday I just couldn't believe he was really driving. Mom was probably just controlling everything with some secret driving wheel of hers. He was driving. He was..

See, I don't mind when my mom drives..
(Not that I really mind when Joshua drives,
I just don't hold my breath when my mom drives)
(this picture was taken at a stop light)

And then Joshua.. He got his permit yesterday.
He drove the great big van down the long country roads to our house.
I think I held my breath most of the way..

And I couldn't help staring at these gorgeous
blue eyes while holding my breath.
(Yes, he does have paper in his mouth.)

Joshua presented me with a gift before driving away.
Wasn't that nice of him?

I've been doing a lot of facial shots lately.
(I'm really enjoying my new camera)

So basically the new things going around in my house :

My brother got his drivers permit.
We finished tiling the kitchen and entry way.
Joshua has a new pet. His name is Charlie Daniels.
(Anybody wanna guess what it is?)

Also. When I first made this blog, I thought I would make it sort of my writing blog, and post some of my writings on here. But its turned more of into my photography blog. And another blog (This Blog) I made specifically for my photography, but I haven't been doing much on it. So I was thinking maybe I should just completely turn this into my photography blog? What do you think? I also have a poll on my sidebar, about my template.

Have a wonderful Easter!

John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.

Operation Jelly Donuts

Well. I don't have much to explain in this post.. Other than.. The picture's explain everything. Except the title. The title means nothing. Its just to catch your eye. (If it does.) I mean, the title would be boring if I just said "Funny Pictures". Aaron put some of Abi's socks on the other day, and Abi didn't want him to wear her's. So I told him I had some really cool one's for him to wear. He was thrilled. Then of course Elijah wanted some, so I got some more out. And how did Micah get into some? Well.. I'm not exactly sure. He just ran out into the kitchen with them on. Doodad that he is ♥
Micah was laughing at the other boys while they made faces.
And I had to die over this picture.
So. Operation Jelly Donuts is complete.

He's so fluffy, I'm gonna die!

Most of my blog readers know I've moved out to the country. (Hurray!) And once you move out to the country, you have to get chickens. Right? Right. So early this morning, I set out with my two sisters and my mom, to go chicken shopping. We ordered some chicks from another "store" online, but they aren't going to be in until May. We, of course, wanted some before May. I wouldn't be posting this, if we hadn't gotten any, but we did get some. Eight to be exact, just for starters. One of the bins at the store had these teeny tiny little chicks. And me being me, I went for the smallest they had. Jeffery. One reason he caught my eye was, because he was the only one with stripes. (Like a skunk!) He's tiny! So very tiny, he likes being held. I held him in the car on the way home, the other "big" chicks, were picking on him. (I was perfectly happy with holding him)

Here are all the chicks.
Can you guess which one is Jeffery?
(Yes, I name my chicks!)
The small striped one of course.
The one with the Egyptian like makeup eyes?
(Yeah, that's what it reminded me of >.<)
Rachel and Abi got one of the same breed
but they are much bigger than Jeffery.
(The brownish color one's are silkies.
I can't remember what breed Jeffery is.)
Side view.
He was trying to sleep in the car!
Aren't his stripes cool?
You can tell in this picture how tiny he is!
So, here's Jeffery. He's mine ♥

I think everyone else named their chicks something like Rocky (Elijah), Corn (Rachel), ButterCup (Abi), Colonel Sanders and Church (Joshua) And Aaron's.... Well Aaron's is Rainbow. Once we get the other fourteen chicks we ordered, I'll be naming mine Squishy, Saute', Yellow and Popsicle. I'd also like to name one or two Cappuccino (Call her/him Cap) and Mocha (Mo)

These chickens aren't meat chickens. Especially not Jeffery. >.< But next year, we will be getting meat chickens... But for now, we'll stick with the layers.

What do you think of Jeffery?
